How to care for your Bannetons?

1.Use generous amounts of flour to dust the inside of your banneton before transferring the dough into the basket.  If you use our liner, there is no need to dust it with flour(After each use just simply dry it out and clean the remaining flour off its surface).

2. After each use, remove any remaining flour or dough from the basket. Use a soft brush to gently remove any stuck-on dough.

3. Let the basket air dry completely before storing it. Avoid using water to clean the basket.

4. Once the basket is dry, store it in a dry and well-ventilated area. Some bakers prefer to store their banneton baskets in a plastic bag to keep them clean and dry.

5. Over time, the basket may start to lose its shape or become misshapen. To reshape the basket, dampen a clean towel with water and place it inside the basket. Leave the towel in the basket for a few hours to help the basket regain its shape.
